BabyCalm
Babies are exciting!
If you’ve found your way to this page, you’re either an expectant parent or have recently had a baby.
Congratulations! It’s an exciting time.
I bet lots of preparation went (or is going) into having the best pregnancy and birth possible. You might have even read parenting books to get you ready for when the baby is earthside.
The pregnancy and birth books and classes might have increased your confidence, but did the parenting books do the same?
If you’re like a lot of parents, the more books you read, the more confused you become. Or, you were sure of the approach you were going to take until your baby decided that she didn’t like that plan.
You knew babies cried, but nothing prepared you for when they cried for what feels like no reason at all. Absolutely no reason.
The books told you the first few weeks would be rough on the sleep front, but it’s three months down the line (or six, or ten), and you’re still up at least once a night (or 3, 5, 20). Other people’s babies are self-soothing, but your baby needs you to fall asleep.
What is wrong with your baby? What are you doing wrong? (Here’s a little secret: most likely nothing!)
Weaning sounds like so much fun, but the advice out there is confusing and you’re not sure what to do. Should you puree and spoon feed or try baby-led weaning?
But isn’t baby-led weaning just a messy trend for hippy parents?
Welcome to the world of parenting, where you have more questions every day, and the ‘experts’ seem to know everything. But do they? Some of it doesn’t feel like it’s right for you and your family.
The question is if you think the advice isn’t right for you, what else is there?
This is where BabyCalmTM can help!
If you want to understand your baby better, and discover the latest evidence-based information on infant development, and gentle no-cry strategies to help with all aspects of looking after a baby, then you’ve come to the right place.
